RYTHMz Case Study: Huntington Club.

Delivering Connectivity, Without Tearing Up the Green

Executive summary

RYTHMz Networks worked with an MSP to provide reliable connectivity to the Huntington Club without costly and disruptive infrastructure upgrades. Carrier-agnostic 5G and a multi-WAN network addressed the club’s connectivity requirements while supporting a major charity golf tournament.

The challenge

Traditional ISP infrastructure was not sufficient for the Michael Brown Invitational Charity Golf Tournament at the Huntington Club. Television broadcast teams, event staff and VIP guests needed more bandwidth and reliability than the legacy connection could provide.

Upgrading the existing connection would have required expensive, disruptive trenching across the golf course. The wider challenge was familiar to MSPs: customers increasingly depend on bandwidth-intensive applications while existing connections become harder and more costly to upgrade.

Objectives

Provide a reliable, high-bandwidth connection for two national television partners and on-site TV crews sending data to their studios. Deliver scalable connectivity for the event and VIP guests, avoid trenching across the course, deploy rapidly, and maintain network stability while minimizing downtime throughout the event.

The opportunity

The Huntington Club’s need for an adaptable network reflected the challenges MSPs face in serving customers who need agility and reliability. The partnership between RYTHMz Networks and WTB Solutions demonstrated how emerging connectivity technology could deliver value and performance without a disruptive construction project.

The solution

RYTHMz Networks collaborated with WTB Solutions, combining network expertise with RYTHMz’s Network Operations Center and a multi-WAN design. The deployment also created an opportunity for WTB Solutions to serve the club’s future Wi-Fi requirements.

The architecture included six concurrent cellular connections from multiple carriers; a dedicated 200/200 Mbps fiber line; and Starlink satellite connectivity independent of terrestrial constraints. Together these paths provided bandwidth, coverage flexibility and network resilience.

Implementation

The multi-WAN solution supported the event even though the primary connection point was hundreds of yards from the main event areas. RYTHMz managed the overall WAN and connectivity across eight endpoints. An on-site point-to-point network bridged the connection directly to the first tee box.

The network concurrently supported television broadcasts for two national channels, on-site bar POS systems, merchandise POS systems, AV vendor connectivity, and free guest Wi-Fi with a captive portal for attendees. RYTHMz and WTB Solutions established scalable enterprise-grade connectivity without trenching or changes to the existing infrastructure.

The outcome

The deployment delivered enterprise-grade network connectivity where it had previously been unavailable. It supported television production and the event’s operational and guest network needs without the cost and disruption of a permanent infrastructure upgrade.

The case study illustrates three areas where MSPs can extend their services: 5G business connectivity for bandwidth-intensive applications; cloud service management and adoption; and carrier-agnostic Hive Connectivity VPN services that preserve network control for AI, IoT and cloud applications.

Future implications

RYTHMz’s approach gives MSPs options for network reliability, scalability, technical support and differentiation. Carrier-agnostic connectivity can grow with customer requirements, while the Network Operations Center supplies support for complex deployments. For the Huntington Club, the partnership established a route to future connectivity services through WTB Solutions.
